Hey, I’m Amanda. Welcome to my space, a place where technology meets mindfulness, learning meets curiosity, and innovation meets nature.
My relationship with technology has been a gradual and fascinating evolution. I grew up in a time when screens were rare and curiosity lived outdoors. My childhood was spent climbing trees, not clicking links, and that experience shaped how I see the world. It taught me to observe closely, listen deeply, and connect meaningfully with people and places.
Today, technology is woven into my daily life. As a mom, educator, and lifelong learner, I’ve embraced it as a powerful tool for creativity, growth, and connection. When I changed careers to pursue teaching after several years as a special education assistant, I discovered that learning never really ends, and that technology, when used intentionally, can open doors to knowledge and collaboration that were once unimaginable.
Still, I hold a firm belief, while we lean on technology, we must also remember to step away from it. The same way I find clarity in the crisp mountain air, I believe students and educators alike thrive when they balance the digital with the natural. The hum of a device can never replace the grounding silence of nature, where real reflection and creativity are born.
In both my teaching and my personal life, I strive to integrate technology as a bridge, not a barrier, a means to connect people, share stories, and amplify understanding, without losing sight of the roots that keep us human.

I respectfully acknowledge that I live, work, and learn within ʔamak̓is Ktunaxa, the traditional territory of the Ktunaxa Nation.
